Historic Mooresville invites you to escape the holiday hustle and step back in time with a guided walking tour. Stroll along charming streets adorned with classic della robbia wreaths and fresh greenery, part of the town’s cherished holiday traditions that were featured in Southern Living magazine. You’ll learn how generations have celebrated the season here—blending historic architecture, timeless decorations, and warm community spirit into a holiday experience that feels both nostalgic and wonderfully alive.
The tour is an hour-long, involves less than 1 mile of walking, and will include Mooresville’s historic public buildings.(No private residences open.)
Guides will meet ticket holders at the Stagecoach Tavern and tours will begin promptly at the designated tour time.
Guests are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes before designated time.
Tours are Rain or Shine.
Tickets: Your PayPal/credit card receipt will be your reservation acknowledgement. No “tickets” will be mailed.
Dress: Casual and warm with comfortable shoes. Walking required. Open buildings are not wheelchair accessible.
Parking: Provided in the front of town.
Restrooms: Please be advised: There are NO public restrooms in Mooresville.
